The PPS filter cloth is fabricated from polyphenylene sulfide (PPS), a high-performance thermoplastic polymer with an aromatic backbone and sulfur linkages.
The PPS filter cloth exhibits nice resistance to acids, alkalis, organic solvents and many corrosive chemical environments—its chemical stability is second only to PTFE among common filter fabrics.
It offers good tensile strength, abrasion resistance, dimensional stability and low deformation under load or high temperature, making it suitable for demanding industrial filtration applications.
Application environments: Commonly used in high-temperature flue-gas dust collection (boilers, waste-incineration, cement plants), solid-liquid separation under harsh chemical conditions, and other filtration contexts where conventional fabrics degrade.
